MBB-440×580-4.4 is a polyester/foil-based moisture barrier bag. This 4.4 mil bag provides protection for ESD-sensitive and moisture-sensitive electronics, typically SMT (Surface Mount Technology) items. The bags are heat-sealable and suitable for vacuum packaging. Bags are printed with ESD protective and moisture-sensitive warning symbols (Fig. 2). This moisture barrier bag is manufactured using multi-layered materials. The construction has been designed to minimise some forms of contamination, including outgassing and non-volatile compounds.
MATERIAL CONSTRUCTION:
- Static dissipative coating
- Polyethylene Layer
- Alu Foil
- Clear PET
- Static dissipative coating residues. It is free of primary amines, amides, and silicone compounds.
**Best practice is to use with *Desiccant and a *Humidity Indicator Card**(Fig 3) (*Desiccant & Humidity Indicator Cards are not included with this product and are sold separately)
