100 Bags per Pack

Description

Our ESD Static Shielding Bags are engineered to deliver reliable protection for static-sensitive electronic components during storage, handling, and transport. Manufactured from a multi-layer metallised laminate, they form a continuous Faraday cage around the contents, effectively preventing electrostatic discharge (ESD) events from reaching the product.
While pink antistatic polythene bags only offer surface charge dissipation and limited short-term protection, our Static Shielding bags provide true electrostatic shielding, ensuring components remain fully protected even when exposed to high-risk environments or external static fields.

Technical Advantages:

  • Faraday cage protection: Blocks external static fields and discharges.
  • Multi-layer barrier: Combines static shielding with moisture and contamination resistance.
  • Low tribo-charging: Minimizes charge generation during handling and packaging operations.
  • Consistent surface resistance: Meets industry requirements for ESD-safe packaging.
  • Optically transparent: Allows barcode and component identification without opening.
  • Available configurations: Open-top, custom sizes, and custom printing.
  • Standards compliance: IEC 61340-5-1 and ANSI/ESD S541 compliant.

Applications:

Ideal for packaging PCBs, semiconductors, sub-assemblies, and precision electronic devices requiring certified static protection during shipment or storage.

Sealing Options:

The open top bag above can be sealed through using a heat sealer, grip seal, or ESD-safe tape.

Please note that the video below displays our peel & seal bags, these are not in shop but can be ordered through using the contact form displayed on the website.
